David Darg
David, who currently resides in Senegal, has been a part the Operation Blessing team since 2001 and began overseeing humanitarian programs for the West African and European region in 2003. He has been in his current role, providing direction and assistance to international outreach centers since 2005. David has a strong media background and is a skilled photographer and video producer, helping to capture in-country media content.
His experiences have included starting a micro-enterprise garden project in Burkina Faso, being the first OBI staff member to venture into the ancient city of Timbuktu, Mali on a food distribution and helping war-ravaged villagers in Kosovo.
Recently, David went to Kenya to aid people displace by civil unrest, aided orphans in Somaliland, and delivered relief to flood victims in Pakistan and India. David went to Oxford University to study Theology and received a BTh (OXON) in 2001. He also holds a GNVQ (General National Vocational Qualification) in sound engineering from Hereford Technology College.
